Hey Guys

I am trying to get about 500 to 550 horses to the rear wheels of my 97 F-350.
I have a chip tuned by swamps and some 150/146 swamps injectors with an exhaust, kandn filter, guages, torque convertor, valve body, and shift kit. Does anybody have any helpful tips on where to start from here. Thanks.

1 238cc or 250cc Hybrid injectors with 100% or 200% nozzles
2 A better HPOP the adrenaline or Terminator twin pumps
3 A modded H2E turbo or a turbo that flow at best 1100cfm
4 A better fuel system (regulated return) will work
5 A set of ARP or H-11 Head studs
6 A good built tranny.
7 better valve springs 910 will work.
8 get rid of the K&N filter they like to eat turbos;)
10 Good tunes you can get swamps to reburn the chip.
11 a good intercooler.
12 Last but not least........A LOT OF MONEY LOL

That should get you in the 500HP to 600HP range.

im no expert, maybe one will chime in, but from what ive read on here im pretty sure a gt38r turbo and some 238/100 injectors should get u there, especially if u get the heads ported , with supporting mods of coarse

Have you ever built 550 HP or really know how things work?

A stock 97 fuel pump is NOT going to keep up. 250's are going to be required too... and that's just the start.

38R and 238's will net you about 50-100 HP less then 550 rwhp. Besides he has an OBS so the 38R option is not a viable one since he would have to swap over to the super duty stuff.

A 66mm or 71mm H2E, S4 or similar is going to be required.

Since you already have a Forged Rod Block...

Gen 3 - 1650
Fuel System - 1200
Modded S400 - 1700
T4i mount - 1250
Injectors - 2800
Springs,Studs,Pushrods - 1000
Intake/Exhaust/Gauges - 1000
Transmission - 4900
Labor to install - ?

Fuel Pressure, EGT, Trans, boost, drive pressure.

$15500

Will pretty much take you up to 600+ depending on which injectors you go with.

if you want a consistent and real 550 at the rears, on different dynoes as well as having the et and mph at the track to back it up, a 38r and 238/80 injector will not get you there.

Go with something with a 100 percent or larger nozzle, id recommend 200s if youre not going to tow a ton with the truck. Then a oil system of your choice and a 66mm or larger turbo. say a modded h2, a s300 variant, or a 42r etc. what the larger nozzles on the injectors will do is allow you to make your power at a slightly higher rpm, requiring less torque down low to make the same hp and thus, being easier on your motor. Of course youll need all of the related stuff, fuel system, transmission, headstuds and springs, and some kind of transmission/clutch to hold the power. top it off with tunes from your favorite tuner.

I'm with Marty and Aggie on this one.

At 38r will not get you where you want to be if you want 500 - 550 RWHP plus your an OBS

I would do 238cc 100 or 200 % nozzles, Modded H2E or 42r with all the supporting mods to go with it. Studs, springs, push rods, fuel system, tranny

Its not an easy or cheap task. Good luck

I am running 238cc with 100% nozzles, Terminator dual pumps, full fuel system, BTS Trans, headstuds, and a Garrett GT42 turbo. My last dyno run was 563 HP.. I hope to move up to a larger hybrid soon.

i made 550 with 238 hybrids, a wore out 15* hpop and a 66mm mod h2e. This was probably the best all around setup i ever had- towed great, fun to drive and pulled pretty good fuel mileage.
