Remember I am green to the Powerstroke :D .... Question is when I look down on the driverside and look at the uppy I looks like there is a small gap at the connection should that be flush (my concern is boost loss)... I hope this aint a dumb question :confused:

or on the up pipe right at the bottom of the upper connection?

I love this place!! I just got in and checked for soot none anywhere clean :D

if there isnt any soot you should be fine. if it was leaking any real amount the soot would be a tell take sign

If you are referring to the connection to the exh manifold. There is a gap between the clamp and the manifold.

Soot indicates a leak. No soot, then you should be fine.

However, the up-pipes will leak eventually, so keep an eye on them from time to time.

Keep an eye on the top uf the up pipes thats where they usually leak fix them quickly. if not this is what you will get and have to replace pipes and gaskets.
