Right now i have the suncoast superduty rebuild kit in my truck with the billet input shaft. I'm using just regular mercon/dextron trans fluid cause that's what suncoast recommended at the time. Today i just had a buddy of mine order a suncoast triple disc converter with a 2000 stall and he will also be installing it. Now, how much trans fluid will still be in the trans after he drains it? Only reason i'm asking is because i want to switch to the new mercon LV fluid. Just wondering if it's gonna be bad if i was to mix a bunch of LV fluid with a couple quarts of the mercon/dextron stuff.

well this is something i'd hafta do at the dealership then. I'll just have him fill it back up with the mercon/dexron stuff then have my other buddy who works at ford, do a trans flush on it. I'm assuming that would get all the mercon/dexron stuff out and get new LV or SP in it.
