if i unhook the front sway bar in my 06 f250 and put small ratchet straps on the front end to hold it down do you guys think this will stop front end wheel hopp when sled pulling?

I don't think you have to unhook the sway bar. Just ratchet it down and that should help with your problem.

I have been told strapping the front end on a coil-sprung SD helps with the axle hop in the front, I've never personally tried it.

You can disconnect your swaybar if you want, but it will neither help nor hurt you when you're pulling. A swaybar only goes to work when you enter a curve. It's just along for the ride the rest of the time. ;)

Dont use the small ratchet straps, use the bigger ones that are like 3'' wide and crank them down as tight as you can

thanks for the replys i will give the strap idea a go on friday i will let you no how it goes
