i was wondering if i should fight with my dealer over this. i have a 2008 f-250 6.4l it has 62,000 miles on it. shouldnt the idler pulley b covered under the 100,000 miles warrenty. and they are going to charge me 150 dollars for a idler pulley and charging me for 3.7 hrs of labor. :(

It would be under the bumper to bumper warranty which is 3yr/36k mile warranty. Not covered under motor warranty.

It would be under the bumper to bumper warranty which is 3yr/36k mile warranty. Not covered under motor warranty.
Highly doubt his 3 yr / 36k is still in effect. He said the truck has 62,000 on it.:blah:

If they argue it's not covered under the engine warranty tell them to get the engine to run without the pulley. Vital part of the engine if you ask someone with common sense.

I'm past the 3/36 mark.
My receipt says price="warranty"

I have a early job 1. IIRC correctly the 3 year point/sale for my truck was in august and it got serviced in Dec.
