Ok i just baught a 96 psd f450 for my welding truck i havnt driven it much since buying it but yesterday i drove it to work so i could take it to the dmv on my way hme and i went out and started the truck first thing in the morning and let it run for a lil to warm up. Temp here gets to about 32 degrees over night so not crazy cold but when i drove off it felt as if the turbo exhaust was clogged or not spooling and u could here air excaping but if i reved it up enough it would push threw and u can here the turbo spool. Its stopped doing it once on the main roads and the truck was well warmed and its never done that during the day when its warm so is somthing freezing up? Maybe my exhaust backpressure valve? Maybe the turbos just shot but it seem to sound good not like a blender or worn bearings but who knows and help would be great

Sounds like your Exhaust Back Pressure Valve (EBPV) functioning normally. Cheers!
