My buddy just called and he is working on his 05 f250. So along with everything else wrong with his truck he was taking it apart and when removing his turbo he hit a wall. The bolt on the backside of the turbo mounting it to the pedestal is stripped. He can't fit a drill or extractor back there to get it out and can't reach the rear pedestal bolt to just remove the pedestal and turbo at the same time. Any suggestions?

It's on the backside he can't get anything but a socket back there to touch it. He had tried heating it and even just breaking the head off but nothing is working.

Yeah, those Turbo Sockets from sears can remove a piece of Pipe if needed.

Also leave that back bolt out, it's not needed.
