Well, for a stock truck that's a good question. I think around 50lbs but I'll have to look at my ford manual.

Certainly less than 40 could indicate a problem, and down in the teens or less is most certainly a dead/dying fuel pump.

It's important to watch at WOT too because at idle it can look fine, but not keep up under load.

Talk to Dennis at ITP diesel. He has a new hi po pump I hear.

There have been troubles with the old Aeromotive and SX pumps.

Stock is a good option unless you have big injectors sucking down the pressure

WTF. Have truck troubles and don't call me beotch. :lame: LOL I need your new Phone numbers. E-mail them to me. It's because your truck is cold and don't like it. It lived in the keys 2 long. You need a fuel gauge taped to the window or a remote electric fuel gauge. Feel free to call me tonight. May or may not have a hot date. :gun: LOL

Make a long test gauge lead and feed it out the hood then secure it to the windshield.

Ya said earlier you changed the fuel filter and it got better for a little bit. I would pursue that deal before you start throwing money at this. Get a can of SeaFoam and dump it in the fuel filter bowl. There is a little valve in there that can get gunked and screw up fuel flow.

Was the bowl really dirty (bugs floating around) when you changed that fuel filter first go around?

it gets a can of seafoam every time i change the filter:D
I just dont have time to mess with it right now
when I get back off patrol i usually dont feel like workin on eng's
but im thinking about going ahead and doing te regulated fuel return
if i can find one at a reasonable price
