Tell me how much your truck weighs and what is done to increase or decrease its weight over stock. Mainly lifts and big tires.

-Cab configuration
-4x4/2x4
-long/short bed
-year

Mine is a 01 ex cab 4x4 long bed with 5.9 12v cummins one 10'' sub with amp and probably 100lbs sound deadening spare tire and tailgate were still on. 285/75/16 on aluminum wheels 1/4 tank fuel was 7200lbs without me in it.

I want to know how much lighter a reg cab would be over extended with everything else the same. Thinking of swapping my motor/tranny.

The Pumpkin was a crew-cab short-bed 4x4, 6" Donahoe lift, 37 x 13.5 Toyo M/T's, and a 12k winch on the front. 8350lbs with about half a tank of fuel.

My extra-cab short-bed 6.0 4x4, no tailgate, no back seat is 6950lbs with about half a tank of fuel.

My 01 Regular cab F350 4X4 weights 6600 lbs. No spare tire(someone stole it) and a half tank of fuel. We have one of the most accurate Scale's in the county(vintage 1950 HOWE). :D

Mine has been on the scale about a dozen times. Without me it usually goes anywhere between 6700-6800 lbs.

When I bought my early '99 years ago and it was completely stock, low on fuel, no driver, 6,740#.

I imagine w/ the tires and all it weighs a fair bit more these days.

Are looking for SD's? My OBS CC SWB 4wd weighs 6500 sans tailgate and me. Removing the goliath rear bumper should knock off another 200.

My regular cab would scale at 6950 with all of my pulling equipment, 1/4 tank of fuel and without the hanging wieghts. Throw 1K of cast iron on the front and bring it right up the 7950 on most scales.

I am kind of confused by the vast differences. Mine is one of the 6800 lb trucks. That is stock tires, height, etc. It is an XL so no power anything. My GVWR is 9900 lbs so if it weighed 8000 by itself there wouldn`t be much of an allowance for cargo. I believe I`ve got a pretty accurate weight though cause I`ve crossed the scales several times at three different locations. Always within 200 pounds and I know for sure 2 of the scales are state certified.
