Im looking to get a car hauler with living quarters up front, with water tanks etc. basically like a toy hauler type setup.
anyhow, on one ad i saw they mentioned something along the lines that the trailer would pretty much qualify for a mortgage since you could live in it.

is there any truth to this? im looking in the $20,000 range and under, but if i could get a low interest note that was like 10yrs so my payments would be CHEAP that would be GREAT!

im also looking used, if that'd be a factor.

what do ya'll know??

You can deduct the interest on payments for a travel trailer or fifth wheel as a second home, as long as the trailer your looking at has sleeping quarters, kitchen and a bathroom you should be good. I believe that is the requirement is kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping quarters, run it by your accountant to make sure.
