So yesterday driving my truck I noticed the tow/haul light flashing and my trans temp gauge was dead cold. Parked the truck and temp gauge popped back to normal temp and the light quit flashing. Drove a little further and the temp gauge dropped back to cold and the tow haul started flashing again. So I brought it to the dealer to have it checked out. Meanwhile I did some searching and came up with the trans temp sensor. Dealer called me today and said it was the trans temp sensor and that it was a easy fix. They quoted me $750 to do it. That seems really expensive to me. Im thinking tranny filter and fuild change plus the part or is there more to this fix that I dont know?

not sure ?
don't know what book time is nor the part price ?
pan gasket is specified as reusable maybe if they had a hot flush in there it would be closer to fair ?
