What should a normal tranny temp be for not towing anything with big tires on the highway?, BC yesterday we had unusually high temps it was 86 and when i was on the highway driving pretty much flat i looked at my trans temp and it was around 160*, is this normal?

I've been told by a psd tech that anwhere from 150-180 is pretty much normal.

This past weekend I took the toyhauler out. Almost 13K, temps in low 90's and trans temps stayed around 180 and I was playing with it. The first time out with the Adrenaline and was gassin on it some. In stop & go especially with those tires 160 is OK.

Adrenaline made a huge diff btw.
