Is the O/D light on the shifter blinking? Is the engine light on? If either have you had the codes read? Do you have long upshift issues such as shift from first to second etc..? Are the shifts neck snapping or just firmer than normal? What color is the trans fluid? Does it smell burnt? Is the level correct? Do you see fine metal particles in the fluid? Does the engine rev up higher than normal before the truck moves? There are tons of possibilities with the amount of info you provided. Answer the above questions and we can go from there.
