Ive been looking at tires for a while and lurking on the forums. I finally decided on open country at 2's. I cant decide between the 295's or the 315's both are the extreme version. I have a new to me 00 f350 crewcab. Going to be putting x code springs on and 16x8 wheels with 0 offset and 4.5 back spacing. Will the 315's fit without rubbing much or should I just stick to the 295's? Toyo site lists the 8in rim is ideal for the 295 and the lowest you should go on the 315's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Plan on losing a lot of fuel mpg......I went from 285 back to stock 265 and gained 1 mpg on a Michelin M&S 2. Aggressive tires are even bigger difference.

That said 295 BFG AT is a sweet combo. 315 tires look weird on a 16" rim.

I'd go with 295's I have 285 and have been eyeing those same tires for my next set. Not many 295's that are E rated
I'm running them on 8" wheel.

When I bought my truck, it had 295/75r16 BFG AT's on the stock rims. I thought it looked really good for a stock suspension truck.

The 33's on a 16" rim was a good sidewall to rim ratio in my opinion.

I think my truck looks perfect with the stock Lariat wheels (best looking ones IMO) and 285s. Lifted the truck a little bit, probably cause the 265s that were on it were almost bald, and gave it a more aggressive look.

Ok so I went with the 295 a/t II extreme. Heres how she looks before and after. I'm going today to pick up some x code springs from the dealer to level it and an ais. Also on the slate is a paint matched front end conversion with black mesh grill.

How much are the x-code springs from the dealer? Might be a cheaper alternative for me compared to buying a lift.
