clutch makes a hissing chattery noise when the clutch pedal is out.. but when you push it in it magically goes away. what is prob causin this?? pilot bearing or throw out or what? thanks guys

Definitely the throw out bearing.

mine makes some funny noises too-

figured that it would go away when the stock fuel system quits leaking into the valley and draining into the clutch assy. the only way this is going to happen is when i re-engineer the fuel system and replace the clutch.

that fuel will eat the clutch up! i know cause i had a leak in the valley. to the OP id say its your throwout bearing, i know my truck eats everyone of em that goes in it instantly.
