I need to build a pressurization tool for the cylinder to hold the valves closed while I install new valve springs. I need to know what the thread pattern is for the glow plugs? I need to call around and find a tap and die to make the tool I need. My spare glow plug disappeared or I would take it with me to the hardware store.

Thanks,

Just put the piston at TDC and figure out the compantion cylinders ;) (1-7-4-6 and 2-3-5-8 I believe)

The piston at TDC will keep the valve from falling, and you can do 2 cylinders at once using compantion cylinders, meaning you only have to turn the engine 4 times :poke:

Or at least thats how we did mine :D
