Tapercore vs Spearco

I believe BBunting has info about both the 7.3 and 6.0 Spearco's at www.blackwidowdiesel.com
There were some numbers floating around for the Tapercore but I don't know who posted them originally. The Spearco's core is much better in design than the Tapercore. However either is much better than stock.

Tapercore here. All I can say is that it works. Brad? from TN saw my TC at Tulare. I think that was his name(sorry if I got it wrong)
As to say that the TN design is better than the TC? I agree that BW has done testing, but I have not seen the test between the two. That would spark a rash of arguments just like an oil thread. Lets not go there.
I do agree that either is better than stock.

While we haven't tested the Tapercore, I am sure its a nice piece.
For the $600 price difference, I doubt the tube and fin design yields better cooling than the Spearco bar and plate. I have posted data (I know, some say data with gauges doesn't count), so I'll let someone else prove why Tapercore is better.
For B codes, I'd go with Spearco.

If I'm buying new I'm going with the Spearco all the way. I have been seeing some used Tapercores for sale here an there and the prices were pretty resonable. Brian your going to kick my [email protected]# if I do that though cause I've talked you ear off about a intercooler, balencer and studs a couple months ago. I even told him I wasn't wasting his time and I would get the stuff when I got my new house squared away...:swordfight:

Hay BigR, Your tunes work well in my truck. It's the closest thing Jody could do without seeing the truck again. I may take a bonzi trip down this winter and have him do a little plug and play. Short story and Jody can chime in, We were in Indy live tunning on one of the freeways spinning the tires at 70 or so when i would floor it. I think Jody was a little nervous not knowing me and with all the traffic and all.LOL Ben

Dude at least know what your slamming, Tapercore is not tube and fin!!
Now your an expert on the Tapercore after you mislead everyone to think DI cooler was bar and plate. Prove that it is.

Before you post about me you better do a little back round check. I've been building diesel motor's and gaser's probably while you were still rideing your little bicycle. Not saying you haven't made more power than me, But it's your full time business. I would hope you can do better than Me...
