I just got an intercooler ordered off of ebay, and I can't seem to find an early 99 intake spider. I saw a spider from an international bus or truck and I was wondering if anyone has used one??

Sorry for the tiny pic, it's the only one I could find.

I would cut the end off for the hot side and weld an elbow in between.

What do y'all think??

You could just cut the hot side off, and bolt a T to the remaining Y and bolt that T into the valley.

Then all you need is a V-banded elbow. Same way H2E kit's and whatnot are setup.

For that matter, I don't have the PN in front of me, but IH makes a a piece that is just a Y that might be cleaner if you decide to go that way.

I have seen it done that way before in a pickup.

I know a guy who has it done on his truck. He used all IH parts when doing his so it had the spyder, pedistal, plenums, up pipes and at one time had the turbo too.
