Im looking for some opinions here and it pretty much comes down the the following:

Re-built my 7.3PSD or swap to a rebuilt DT360?


Either one would be with a fresh transmission.

What are the pro’s and con’s ?
Considering the cost, they would be about even?
What about serviceability, long term reliability? MPG ?
Would this hurt the Value of the Truck or raise it?

The Truck is a daily driver and I want to be able to travel the country , pulling my camper without worries. I do like the DT due to being all mechanical.

7.3 is direct bolt in no modifications couple days done 360 lots of work and fabrication
7.3 build all parts readily available
dt360 = less value
have run several obs 7.3 over million miles in wreckers with normal maintenance
use quality parts don't build it or run it like race truck it will give you hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles......
