My dad wants me to install some strobes in his 2002 f-150 work truck. What I am looking for is a best bang for your buck 4 bulb kit. Does anybody have any kits they can recommend? Price is definably a factor I am looking at, as well as day time visibility.

The white kind that you put inside your reverse lights and front running light housings.

they have the bst prices on everything. as far as quality, whelen is well known, but due to stupidity they have beem coppied very well by other companies. same exact products, just with a different look and name

Do you think it is worth the extra $21 for the 90watt kit insted of the 60watt kit?

Cheap and visibility do not go together. Hide-a-way makes a decent moderatly priced kit.

Most places won't sell you the good stuff unless your Emergency services or in the towing/recovery business

I have the recon 90 watt kit. It is spendy but super bright... with 12 settings...


I would go with the 90 watt.

It just sucks drilling 1" holes in the headlights

That looks like a purdy neat kit. Since its a 6-way kit how do you think it will work if I put a strobe in each tail light housing as well as a strobe in each reverse light housing?
