What do you all think about it. My tranny is still doing ok and my turbo is still ok. I was just wondering how many people have seen it done and how long there tranny or turbo lasted for with this setup.

I switched to 175cc injectors and my clutch was okay (fabric) but my turbo only lasted 3 months at the 32ish pounds of boost it was running.

I've seen the old TP38 go for a long, long time at the same boost though, so who really knows for sure.

Either way, good luck.

How long has your turbo and trans been going for with that set up? How much HP/TQ are you pushing out also?

Been chipped for about 25,000
Injectors for around 13,000
Oil + Injectors for 10,000

Calculator says 380 RWHP based on my MPH, but that was with a shifting issue on the 1-2 and at elevation (5800ft - 11,000 DA) If I pull a couple more MPH with the shifting issue, and better track conditions I'll be right around 400.

I won't tell you your setup will last 5 minutes with stock turbo, tranny but mine has so far.

At least 50-60 boosted launches, numerous sled pulls, towing 24,000+ cross country.

1.0 exhaust housing for the turbo, and a new torque converter & valve body for the trans if you're gonna try it.

Even then you're on borrowed time.

Maddog 160cc stage IIs wiped out trans in six weeks without burning rubber. 1.0 housing on OBS TP-38 with BTS/MD stage IIs/399.8 hp/stock muffler was still going strong at 80K miles of abuse. Then added Terminator, SD fuel pump/regulated return and 4" exhaust and turbo still lasted (at about 420+ hp) until me left housing bolts loose so it ate itself. Replacement OBS 1.0 TP-38 still running good. So, who knows for sure? Next turbo will do better though.

Nice numbers I have a stock turbo on my truck and it is giving up the ghost loseing boost psi started out with 25+ ,intercooler I lost 2-3 psi ,now it will make 19-20 only and that is a stretch with as hot as it has been as of late.

Let me drive it and I'll break it in 5K or less.

Yeah I bet. I bet that if I drove it like I use to drive my truck I would kill it in 2 hours tops. But it looks like its going to be some time until I figure out about the injectors. Something in my trucks driveline took a dump last night so I am figureing out what it is still.
