I was wondering if I take my cruise control tilt wheel column out and buy a non tilt, non cruise column if I could swap the parts over to make it a cruise and tilt wheel? These damn tilt & cruise wheels go for like 400$...

Only thing I can think of is you will need to cut a hole in it for the tilt knob. But other than that I'm not sure.

I'm of the personal opinion its better to rebuild what you got. I went through mine about 2 years ago and had to replace every bearing in it but its like a new truck once you do that.

I don't think it's that easy, the 3 copper tabs that control the blinker cut off are broken, the plastic ring right behind the wheel itself is shattered...

The steering column is common to several other Ford vehicles, making it easier to find in the junkyards. Replacing the bearings does make it like new.
