hello everyone. 2 days ago i was driving home from working, and looked into the rearview mirror and notice a light blue haze behind me. so my question is what would cause this to just start smoking. it didnt blow any blue smoke until 2 days ago. so were would you start looking? at idle there is no smoke. it only hazes under a light load. does it in all the settings on the chip. there is no blowby coming out of the filler pipe for the oil fill. it was about 2 quarts low on oil today(but i havent checked it in since the last oil change about 5000 miles ago, with RT5w40 syn) it usually uses about 1 quart every 3000 miles.

so would you think its the injector orings? or what. any help would be great thanks D.J.

has the 6637 only about 15000 on it. i tapped it out last oil change with very minimal dust?? keep them coming thanks D.J.

Check to see if the turbo is passing oil. If not check your ICP and IPR duty cycle as you might have a bad injector o-ring.

anybody with AE software around the New Orleans area? or any software that can check the ICP and IPR?? will gladly pay a fellow PSN'er.

whats the easiest way to check the turbo? pull the downpipe? thanks D.J.

Check for leaks in the CAC lines? How is the power?

power is fine just like allways. i just put a new LPOP in the truck 2 weeks ago so and now have more oil pressure(but the front cover is grooved damnit)
it will blow black out of the pipe with it on the 120 setting just like normal cleans right up with rpms. has same amount of boost. i flogged it pretty good tonight driving home. same old truck just with a light blue haze lol.

With the miles on that truck it could also have internal leakage in the injects.........could be a reason to um.......upgrade;)

O do i agree on the upgrade part lol. been looking and researching what injectors i want. but as quiet and as smooth as these injectors are i would really hate to replace them with some of the things i have read and heard about(new or rebuilt). but i think it is somthing easy because it just started all of sudden. if i have to pull all the injectors i might as well throw some bigger sticks in there:gun:. thanks keep them coming D.J.
