Ok here's what I did. I replaced the battery cables, alternator cable, and starter cable, and yes I found that yellow wire that has to be attached for the alternator to charge and attached it. They were all corroded up badly is why I did this whole project. I did the starter cable last and even started the truck up to make sure everything was good before doing the starter cable. I did the starter and got everything all hooked up and turn the key and click. WTF! I checked all the connections and even put a volt meter on the starter. On the BIG wire 12.26v when wife hit the key 10.39v on the little wire. The batteries are all charged up cuz I charged them in between. I even separated them and checked them individually and they were 12.26v. My guess it the starter is worn and with the wire corroded up it caused the amps to go up on both and now with the new wire there isn't enough amps. what ya'll think? Maybe even the starter relay on the fender? IDK
