Let's hear your setups.

I have
Kenwood H/U
MP3, Sirius, HD Radio capable. 5v preamp outs, sub control, 3 band EQ, remote.

MB Quart components
I did a little custom work to my doors to make 6.5" speakers fit and installed these. Have the mids and crossovers mounted in the doors. Tweeters are mounted by the "sail panel" on the flat part of the door handle, in front of the window controls and angled toward the driver/passenger.
I have the crossovers attenuated to the highest settings. I like highs.

(2) JL Audio 10's
2 JL 10W1 subs mounted in a sub zero enclosures box made specifically for 99-03 crew cab super duties.
Sub zero's website is www.subzeromfg.com real top quality stuff.

JL mono block amp
Can't remember the wattage right now but it's a monoblock JL amp and pushes these subs hard at only about 70%

All in all a really good sounding combo I think. I love the component sounds, music just sounds so much different, clearer, more alive; better. For the kind of music I prefer Rock, Country, etc it sounds great. If I were a hard core rapper I'd need way more sub, but these 10's are an awesome compliment to the component sound I was looking for. Tight, quick hitting bass, not tubby.
The rear speakers are stock for now. My goal is to eventually get a set of Diamond Audio components for the front, and move the current MB Quarts to the rear.

So, that's my setup. What's yalls ??? :rockwoot:

I've got two Punch 10" subs on an Autotek amp, factory front and rear speakers on a Memphis amp, a Pioneer Elite? or whatever it is that has the Bluetooth and a bunch of weitrd stuff on it, and a Kenwood EQ. SOunds pretty good. I'll probably update once I start on the interior of my truck though.

You gotta hear a 12W7 in a crew cab..... It's just nasty. But you gotta have the windows down for full effect. Sounds like my sunroof is about to blow clean out.

Focal's huh Rich..... very nice. Check out my buddies Escalade we did in my sig. It's in the shop now getting re-done again. Now the 42" Plasma will come up behind the sub's motorized along with a new box. Should be great for those Florida Gator and Jaguar games.... All Focals... 3pairs. Are you running your fronts bi-amped? If you're not... Holy God do they sound sick if you've got a good head unit to do it!!!!

I'm thinking about going bigger than that. considering adding another set of 165K2P's up front with another amp. 1 set in the doors...1 set in the kicks....1 tweet in the door...1 in the a-pillar.
I want it louder...only way to do that the way I want it is to add more drivers up there. Plus the piller tweets wil raise the soundtage.

Dave's Escalade has the 165K2P's with a JL 450.4 pushing them Bi-Amp'd and I've been in systems for close to 16 years now and have never heard anything that clear and loud. When I tuned the truck for him I honestly couldn't stand having loud anymore. That is the first system that has ever hurt my ears from mid's and high's. 150 watts going to the drivers and 75 watts going to the tweeters. It is painful. I've heard this setup done with the Focal crossovers and this way. This way is SO much cleaner. Try it.... you'll dig it.
