I have a very long delay when going from D-R or R-D. Feels like it engages, then dis-engages, then finally engages with a clunk.
Does anyone have part numbers and pricing on the solenoids?
Anyone replaced theirs?
How much of a job is it?

Thanks

I don't think a solenoid will help Rev delay. Heres how if you need one otherwise for an e4od or 4r100:

The solenoid is a bolt in after the pan is off. You'll need torx bits and 8--10mm sockets. Unbolt the heat shield. Clean any dirt around the connector on the outside of the case. Unplug it, unbolt it inside and wiggle back and forth until the connector comes thru the case.

We have rebuilt solenoids. Ford is the only source of new ones and we resell them also. After discounts the price probably will be less than the dealer charges you as a walk in retail customer. The part # depends on model year. Contact me thru the link in my signature if you wish.
