Dave, I would be looking at big oil and a turbo. A turbo will probably help with egt's quite a bit and make it fun to drive. (ball bearing version)

Big oil will make a huge difference in throttle response, driveability and towing. It's awesome.

You could do a 6.0 intercooler (33% larger) unless you're going for some serious fuel.

i second what gregrob says. the 6.0 IC is a direct drop in, easy swap too. definitely go with a BB type turbo, cant go wrong

...I really think the 6.0 IC is overrated... I saw about a 50 drop in egts when pulling and thats about it...

HUH? No fuel? Bet I have more then you... AND I KNOW FOR FACT... I will have more by monday night...

Hummmm Are you not the one with a fuel issue...:poke:


AND WHAT WOULD MY METH ADDICTION have to do with it...

There aren't any fitment issues with the stock 6.0 that the aftermarket ones don't have, and that is the transmission cooler fittings. My 6.0 Spearco fits fine. I have no issues with rad clearance, hood latch, etc. It was well worth the money for towing purposes. Big oil was also worth the price of admission just for the way the truck drives, let a lone the additional power you will/can make with it.

A certain overly hairy someone told me there were fitment issues with the 6.0. Debatable?
Only with some of the drop in bigger units... But thats more of an installer issue then with the IC...
