Hello all, I’m new to the forums and looking to see if you guys can help me out. I have an 05 6.0 and the transmission just started having a delay in shifting from drive to reverse and reverse to drive. Not a long delay, but more then it ever has (maybe 3-4 secs). I did a line pressure test at idle and it fluctuated wildly from 50-110 psi in all gears. Any ideas?

Was literally just researching this. Lol
First I would find a shop that can do a proper fluid flush.
If that doesn't fix it, you may need new solenoids.
All the time? Or first start?

If these are your only symptoms with the trans I would replace the line pressure solenoid. Check for excessive metal in the on or magnet when and if you replace it. You can trying changing the fluid it may or may not help.

If you only have 110 psi in reverse especially when cold that is far too low.i would like to see at least double that.

Are there any shifting concerns?
