I have a 97 f 350 drw 2wd. I have been looking for a good deal on a front axle. I found a guy who has a 99 f 350 4x4 front axle for 300. Would that be a good candidate for my swap? I can get drivelines and front suspension from this truck as well. I can get this all for about 400-500. If I am not mistaken this would be a d 60 as well. Thanks.

He has a front axle for 350 and the rear for 850
I am still trying to decide if I should do the 4x4 swap
I still owe about 7,500 on the truck. It is a cherry of a 1997 but damn all that work

I owe 7,500 because it was the cheapest one I could find and out in Oregon they are not easy to come by with low mileage so I jumped on it. It kbb for 9,500 I believe so I was happy to buy it. I also bought it because I needed it to haul trailers full of granite and cabinets for work. I think I am just going to stick with keeping it 4x2. I really don't need 4x4 out here. I have just had that wanting for a big project is why I was curious.
