1996 F350 crew cab dually.

Just got back from my friend's house after a half hour with his sawzall. . .cut off my exhaust right at the cab/bed seam on my cc and put a turndown right there. I already had replaced the cat and muffler with straight pipe a while back. The turbo sounds great and when i get on it the throaty sound is. . .:rockwoot: The whole thing took me 45 minutes and cost only like 8 bucks for a turndown and a clamp. I'll have to see how bad it soots the underbody, but it shouldn't be too bad, caue with the 45* turndown it rolls under the rear end and comes out under the bumper.

I still haven't replaced my downpipe, but I have the same setup as you. I have the turndown pointed towards the side and it hasn't left any soot at all surprisingly. Although my truck is stock and doesn't smoke at all hardly
