Ok So I have been trying to troubleshoot a hard 1-2 shift for awhile now. I have checked codes (there are none by the way), checked fluid level which was a little over full, and changed fluid and filter. While I was changing the fluid and filter I pulled the accumulator body to check and see if there were any modifications. I pulled all of the plugs and found that the 1-2 valve has 4 springs and the rest have 2 and every one of them have an orange spring. This leads me to believe someone put beefed up springs in. Is this right? And if it is can I pull some springs out of the 1-2 valve to make it shift easier?
