that one can be kind of fun. if my memory serves me right, the front axle seal is in the pumpkin itself and not at the end. which would require you to pull the axle shafts and the gears out of it to get to the seals. i would say if you know how to do gears then jump on it. but if you do it and you dont have your shims right you could tear up the gears.

I have to do the same thing. When you pull the gear and carrier out mark your bearing caps and shim locations and put it back all in the same spot and you will be fine.

:whs:eek:n the fix, If you go through much water replace the seal pretty quick, you don't want to suck water or mud into your diff or you will be out a lot more $$$ than fixing the problem
