Does anybody know if I put a SD pedestal and up pipes on my 97 will I still need an H2E mounting kit for like a GQSSB turbo? Thanks for the help.

H2E mounting kit uses it's own pedestal and up pipes.

It would, but the only part of the SD setup you'd need when going to a H2E mounting kit and GQSSB is the 3" plenums. The larger intake "y" should come with the kit as well as i/c piping.

You won't "NEED" 3" plennums, not that it would hurt though. Give Carson Stauffer a call he makes a real nice kit that will fit that turbo it is less expensive and I think better quality than the hypermax kit..
Have you done an intercooler yet?

No i haven't done an intercooler yet by I wanna do one this summer. Gonna go with a 7.3/6.0 set up I just need to locate all the stuff and buy it but the reason I was asking is because I found somebody selling a SD turbo set up and I didn't wanna buy it if I was gonna have to change it all around when I eventually buy a turbo, most likely the GQSSB. I figured I might as well buy the 3 inch plenums so I can use the spyder set ups off the newer 7.3s.
