Where are they located? I took a drive out to Horst Farm Supply in Hagerstown Maryland to get my Shaeffers.

I like to try and support my local guys around here, but board guys too. When it comes to oil and filters better off close, power adders are for board guys. I just have to have more $ to spend on stuff. ; )

Use whatever fits your bill. They are both very good oil. As far as your 4r100 goes you should absolutely use Shaeffer's All Trans Supreme.
That is what is in mine. That is what BTS uses after rebuilding one of his transmissions.

I was told by several reps the 7000 stands up better to the hpop than the 9000 on our trucks. A rep hear, white buffalo was one of them.

As for running it in the trans, BTS recommends AGAINST synthetic in the stock used trans.

Re: Schaeffer's oil

I have been running the 5w40 for 2 years in the f350 no problems at all
Last analysis said 10,200 miles for oil changes also run the all-trans in the trans put in in at 77,000 when i bought the trunk along with using there differential fluid also.
I run the 15w40 in the Wifes f250 it has 192000 on the last analysis it said to run 6200 mile oil changes
If you want to order there products go to the website i think a $350.00 order gets you free shipping. Anywhere in USA

I guess i am the lucky one the plant is 25 miles from the house:D
Just picked up a case of 15w40 for the F250
And as for price $109.00 for 6 gallons and a 3% discount for CASH:smirk:

That is what they told me.....they use it in their built trans but don't recommend putting it into a trans that is stock with miles on it.
