Scan Gauge II setup ?

I just hooked up my new Scan Gauge II in my 2007 F-350 6.0.
First off let me thank MHATLENS again for sending me all the X-Gauge codes.

But now I am confused. It says in the manual I can program up to 25 gauges but mark sent me many more than that. So is there a way to put them all in or can I only add the 25?

Also memory slot 20 says TFC and 21 says AVG. What are these?

If I can only add 23 more gauges what are the most important ones I should put in?

Thanks.

Not sure why there is anything in those positions. Of course, yours is newer than mine is.

EOT
All three FICMs
BAR
MAP
EGP
VGT
TFT
ICP (psi)
ICP (volts)
IPR
FSS (rpms)
DTC (counts any code that may pop up, especially "soft codes" that don't reach the parameters to set the CEL light)

You can leave the rest open for future gauges for diagnostics.

Also, the Xgauges read from 24 to 0, so, I put my xgauges in alphabetically from 24. Easier for me to go through to what I'm looking for.

ECT is labeled fWT already in your SGII.

ICP is your high pressure system (Injector Control Pressure) Make sure you prompt the scanguage on, lower right button before cranking starter.

You can also change name to ECT from the default fwt made it easier for me. lol

Take these at 190* temp w/o a load approx values. You should not see IPR above 50%

ICP 580-625 at idle 800 high idle 950 2000 rpm Range of 0- 4045 These pressure come way up under a load going down the road (just a baseline)

IPR 14.84 koeo 21 at idle 27 high idle 29 2000 rpm Range of 0-50% you will see the 50 range wot

Stock alts are pretty weak considering 13.4 is good when things charge up you will see it in the 12v range. Its when you barely get it started and alt is crankin away trying to charge both batteries up when they blow. If you leave something on and batteries are dead, drive the wifes car and throw a charger on em.lol Dont strain electrical system thats how I wiped out a alternator and my ficm. Live and learn hopefully :)

ScanguageII is quite the little tool I have mine at the far left where dash starts out of sight exept for me. Best investment I made after the bad investment on the truck. LOL

ICP and IPR together
FMV and FMP together
EOT and °fWT together
AVG is average miles per gallon, for the current trip

My typical arrangement is

IAT EOT
AVG °fWT

Some days I'll put the FICMs on the left, other days the IPR and ICP. Once in a while I'll scroll through and check DTC and all the injector misfires, etc.

Does the programmer mess with the computer somehow an makes it have funky readings somtimes? I'm gettin this as my average mpgs.....

I haven't been on here in a while. I don't know what 's wrong with my computer, but I can only upload half your pic, so can't see what it says. But my mileage on my SG is highly disappointing. Driving around town I average 12 to 15 mpg.

Mhatlen has been a huge help, but I don't have the ranges listed on the list you gave me.

I still haven't solved my long crank to start issue, other than I know my IRP only shows around 59 when I am cranking, then jumps over 500 when it finally starts.
I haven't been driving it. Now it's pushing coolant out the degas bottle cap (new cap and I have egr delete and new oil cooler.) So I know what's next, lol.

Thank God for my 300,000 mile trouble free 1995 Explorer. It's sure making this diesel look stupid.

I finally fixed all my Power Stroke problems. Took 10 grand for my 07 and bought a 2013 VW Jetta. At least I can make it to my destinations now, lol. Just need a new tow rig. Think I will go medium duty. Tired of all these overpriced junk pickups.
