No, no, no, no, no.
A wastegate allows exhaust gas to bypass the turbine so you don't spin it too fast. It allows the use of a smaller housing which will spool the turbo quicker, yet retain the higher RPM runability of the engine without throwing a large chunk of highspeed spinning metal that used to be known as a compressor wheel, or turbine wheel, through the hood.
In short, a wastegate is a speed regulator, a governor for the turbo, a rev limiter, a good thing THAT SHOULDN'T BE BLOODY FOOLED WITH BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

415 is a long way from 450.

It's not possible to make anything resembling 450 on a stock turbo more than once or twice. Maybe 1 or 2 dyno pulls before it grenades and sends shrapnel through the hood.

nope no spray on that truck. he had that stocker on there til it broke and i do believe it lasted him a good while all things considered. he's got videos making a few dyno pulls @ BTS somewhere, he used to sled pull with it too.
wonder if he could've cracked 450 w/ a fuel sys & a few other tweaks? guess we'll never know.

LOL, So where can I get this warm up valve delete thingy. Nevermind, fixed my wastegate and EBPV with some wire and unplugging a couple of things. If either one opens now something will look like unbrokens block.
