I flushed my cooling system this week and used the Rotella ELC concentrate as the replacement for the Ford Gold.

I picked it up for $14.50 a gallon at a local Freightliner/Western Star dealer called Triple-T. They have 2 locations in South Carolina: Summerville & Florence and 3 locations in North Carolina: Rocky Point, Warsaw & Wilmington.

I think that's a pretty decent price for ELC concentrate, cheaper than the gold 50/50 at $15 gal.

They have a website if anyone's interested:

You can also find it at any International Truck Dealership nationwide. They sell it as "Fleetrite ELC," but it the same thing with a different label.

I was told it was used under the fleetrite name too. I was going to do the John Deere Coolgard II, but I found out after doing research it still needs the sca additive package similar to ford gold, so I canned that idea. John Deere wanted $22 gal for their concentrate.
