Two totally different injectors. Baby Swamps are like a stage 1 injector.

Please fill out your Sig so we know what you have.

I just put baby swamps in my truck yesterday. I am very happy with them. With a stage two you have to be willing to upgrade the charger later as the stock one can't handle the abuse for long.
Do you need a real built tranny to run 160/80 injectors or would a rebuilt 4r100 (in a 97 f250) with a transgo tugger shift kit and upgraded internals with a bigger trans cooler do the trick? This is for my buddy's truck. He just had his tranny rebuilt and did a semi upgrade on it.
it just all depends on health and maintenance of your current transmission, and assuming by your username, you have an obs truck, you dont have a 4r100, you have an e40d. Bigger injectors are always my choice, but you have to pay to play, be it now, of 6 months down the road when your trans decides its had enough.
He put a 4r100 in his 97 it's newly remanufactured
Really my main concern is the tranny if it'll be alright for the long haul if he isn't using any extreme setting every where he goes (maybe every once in a while) he has a php hydra chip with a stage 2 afe intake but that's it. Would buy a D66 turbo with the injectors tho. But like i said he wants to know if the trans with proper maintenance and no abuse with extreme settings on his chip will it last for years to come? With 160/80 injectors

With a BTS valvebody it would be ok. He wi need an intercooler, d66, e-fuel, gauges.

I have baby swamps and it's very close to a stock 6.4 which is pretty quick. Fuel economy is great. Just got 19.2 mpg on a 200 run (haven't put it in fuelly yet).
Trans health comes down to the user. You can break a slightly modded trans with nothing else done, if you beat on it, it will break. Doesn't have to be in an Extreme setting. The extreme setting, if your easy with that right foot, will usually yield the best mileage as well. Like Houston said, you have to pay to play.
Well in your guys opinion would the 160/80 injectors and a D66 be okay for his trans? Does he just need to watch the tranny temp and Egts? What to look for while running these? Thanks

He has a transgo HD2 valve body
