from what I have read on here and other sites. the 1999 and some 2000's have the good rods and 2000 (some) to 2003 have PMR's. what rods are in the 94-97 PSD's. any help would be great.

thanks, The reason I ask is that I have a customer that doesn't want to fix his van and he is going to bring me the title and I thought it would be a good backup engine.

You can't go wrong with a free engine with the good rods if anything you can pull that engine out of the van and build it up over time and then when you are ready just install it in your truck that is what I want to do if I can ever find a engine for sale close to me.
