Dang, that looks like quite the build there! What all you got on it?

I built the motor for truck pulling with only a little bit of street use. With that in mind I decided I wanted to run solid lifters and roller rockers so I could do some camshaft development as I continue to work on dialing in the truck. With that setup I can vary the lash adjustment and effectively change the lift, duration, and overlap of the cam to get a better feel for what a future camshaft might look like.

For my application I am very happy with the roller rockers, but they make a tight space under the valve cover even tighter. I do not have enough time on them to say if I would run them on a daily driver or not.

Go on down to the pulling section and watch my video and decide if the truck runs or not for yourself. I still have a couple of items I want to tweak on and then I think it will be a real screamer. New vids are in the near future......

I'm sure they work great for a competition engine, does anybody know how well they'll hold up to a daily driver/tow rig? If I was putting together an engine that would see almost all race duty I'd have those rollers installed in no time. I had some bad experiences running full roller rockers on gas engines, although the materials are much better know and the last few sets I have not had any failures on any of the engines.

What material is WOE using for the bodies? The stock steel pieces are extremely hard, IIRC something like 311,000 PSI. If they are using aluminum I don't think they'll hold up on the street. If they do hold up I'll take two sets :D

Those Rockers work quite well. We just installed a set in our truck this year. The Solid lifters make a big difference too. It is worth the money. :rockwoot:
What kind of differences did you see?
