Well, apparently when I had my little burn-out fire at Houston, the fire also melted the jacket of my gear selector cable. It finally went out last night in the Waffle House parking lot. :p

Looks like it runs up behind the fuse box under the dash but can't see where it's going after that, or even where it meets up with the gear selector. Anybody got some decent directions on replacing this thing? Thanx.

Just break down & get one of those cool B&M floor shifters like that orange Dodge from Vegas has. Kinda give it a whole new feel!

Danny does it not come off the trans go up into the cab on a flat piece(horizantal piece) of the body before it curves up into the firewall.
From there it goes up to the column.

It actually goes in at the floorboard. I can see it there, trying to see where it goes once it's behind the fuse panel.

I've got it rigged pretty decent in the meantime. Took some wire loom and put it on the broken area and taped the heck out of it. :D
