I've done a search on the forum on tricks to removing the clutch fan but still having problems getting it off. I went to the store and picked up the "correct" tool that it says you are suppose to use, however, I still haven't been successful. I currently live in an apartment at college so I don't have access to air tools like some have mentioned using. Any pointers on how to get this puppy off with minimal tools would be great.

First get the front part of the shroud out of the way then loosen the 4 bolts iirc on the back part of it 2 at top 2 at the bottom 15mm I think. Unplug the fan and one time when I had too I used a big pipe wrench and a 1 7/8 for the fan to get it on and off. Maybe it will help

I didn't have an air chisle the first time I took mine off. Pipe wrench, pry bar to jam up the cover, and a cheater pipe to use with the wrench. Have fun.
