Where can I get my tires regrooved at? What is the cost generally?
Also who carries 245/70/19.5?

It's getting harder and harder to find places that can regroove tires, or cut an out of round tire. Check with a big truck tire place like GCR.

They are regrovable they are on my 550 they are 245/70/19.5 Bridgestones iirc

I know my military truck tires I was having done for about $30 a piece now it's gone up to about $60 a piece, still much cheaper than a new tire.....although, I can often find 90% takeoffs mounted on the wheels for under $100.
Yeah the 19.5's ain't cheap!

How often should they be balanced/rotated? I have not rotated/balanced them yet and I have put 25k miles on them. The total miles they have them is 85k.

Andrew, You are going to have to get a phone book and get on the phone. Call big rig tire shops and ask.

We use to rotate and balance every 25K on our tow rigs.

Not as bad as throwing a loop on a cow that all of a sudden decides it is tired of running and decides to turn and charge on a horse that you happen to be sitting on. And when you end up on the ground with the rope wrapped around your foot, they both get spooked and decide to run. Glad I had a pistol. Also why I hate horses and eat cows.

A buddy of mine that own a Kelly tire store in Mansfield will regroove them. Just pull your tires off, ship them, he will regroove them and ship them back.

Probably won't save any money, but your tires will be regrooved.
