I read through Brad's initiated sticky on this, but wanted to see how the repair worked for the last 10 months.

I just found a mess under the right drum and was already planning some diff work, so this just pushed it along...

In a quick review, I had the 2 pc seal with the updates from ford (slinger, etc)but there is this scotseal (34387) from NAPA also. I know the wear sleeve would be real clean but my spindle was actually pretty decent and a little emery cloth cleaned it up.

Using the one pc w/ the rtv on the spindle seemed pretty creative--just wondering how its held up?

One pic shows the wear sleeve that still remains (I pulled the metal ring off that was closest to the backing plate as it was just spinning free and attached to nothing). The other shows the cleaned up spindle.
