200k towing miles and just completed another rear differential oil change and inspection. Some wear but still serviceable. Any thoughts?

what fluid did u refill with ?
is this a LS carrier ?
the 10.5 is one of the great rear ends of mass produced trucks ,, but the big 3 has really done well on axle longevity
( not including chevy front ifs lol

Stock Ford Open carrier, I used 75w140 synthetic oil as per axle tag

Interesting that your 06 is open and not an LS I thought they were all LS on the 4x4

It’s a one wheel burner for sure!
Ok Zman you got me thinking so I checked the door sticker, never have before. It is a 37 which IS a non limited slip. Now I know for sure, but like I said, one wheel burnouts is all it every did. 😎
