I have a 97(cali) CCSb w 4:10s 5spd and RSKw SD springs and 315s. Has a DP tuner, 3" DP & 4" exhaust, napa 6637 What is the most realistic MPG that i should be seeing? I am getting about 13/15 city/hwy. Hwy is cruise set on 65

My old 97 RCLB 4:10 5spd RSK and 315s I could squeak out 19MPG on a all highway trip doing 65MPH

Since your cali has split shots(correct?) our trucks are somewhat similar, but i have stock suspension and 285's. When i went down to Unlimited Diesel it was 2.5 hours on back-roads running 50-60, and playing a little if i got bored. I averaged between 19-20 mpg's there. Coming home i ran on the highway from 70-90mph in rush hour traffic at times, and got 16.5. City driving i've seen it as low as 13.5 and as high as 17ish with my AD's.

Keep in mind i have an injector not firing, leaky up-pipe gasket causing the turbo to not lite until 2k RPM's, and a tranny that was going out. And i'm a teenager, so i don't drive it easy all the time. LOL

Seems a bit low to me.

I'm getting 14 mpg out of my 97 F350 E4OD 4x4 4.10 6" lift w/ 38's 6637 4" exhaust and a Banks 80hp chip (and ya the mileage has been adjusted for the tire size/gearing). 100% city.

My 97 F250 stock (3.55) 265/75/16's is getting 16.5 mpg 75% city.

I get about 14 towing a 6K travel trailer @ 55-60 on mostly Interstate; 17 towing a utility trailer and small tractor @ 55-60 on mostly Interstate; 21 solo @ 70 on mostly Interstate.

City driving has too many variables for steady measurements, but probalby about 14-15.

This with a 96 F250 auto with 3.55 axle on an extended cab long-bed loaded with camping equipment. Mods include round drop pipe, Tymar intake.
