I removed my badges to take all the black off of them so they are all chrome. my question is has anyone one ever thought of putting them in the dishwasher? Idk if this would be a good idea my main concern is messing up the badges, will it? or am i wasting my time? I know all the chemicals i can use to do this, the dishwasher just seems easier lol. Also can anyone tell me the best tape to use for when i put them back on? sorry for beating a dead horse.

Acetone and a paint brush to remove the old paint off of the emblem. 3M double sided tape to put them back on.
