I wasn’t getting power to my GPR I tracked down the reason (someone put it on the wrong side of the starter relay) once I switched the wire I tested for voltage at the GPR and it said 27 volts I didn’t think much of it being that there are 2 batteries but everything I read says I should only have 12 volts. What do you guys have for voltage?

You only have 12-13 volts from the batteries so I don't know how you can get 27

Look how the batteries are hooked up. The cross over cable needs to be on the + on both sides. When I got my truck, the guy used it to jump start old farm equipment that had 24v battery systems. he had one battery running the truck and a second, isolated battery wired in series with a separate rectifier on it I found this out when I tried to hook up my first deck in it.

Check the batteries in the meter, and then test it against a known voltage source to make sure it reads right.

27 volts sounds like your multi meter might need to be checked out.
