I got a autometer pyro about 2 years old and it just stopped reading one day. Checked power and ground both good. Put it in a buddies truck works great. Checked all prob wires for continuity, good. Is the prop itself common failure? Anyone out there know what I can look for as far as input signal ie ohms, voltage? Couldn't find #### on their site

If you have easy access the the wires straight from the probe I think I still have the right stuff at the house to check the probe. It is just a simple type K digital thermometer that accepts a plug in probe. If you have a DVM with a thermocouple input that would also work.
