Hey Dan, contact whoever in your area handles MAHLE parts, I think they offer oversized head gaskets. If so, do the valves as Doc suggested and run the thicker gaskets for insurance.

Good deal. Sounds like the best deal going. I'd rather have a well maintained broke in 7.3 than a new one honestly.
